I suspect road rage is actually just inconsideration for fellow man, which inhabits ALL our society nowadays - it's only termed "road rage" when it happens on the road!
One Foot in the Grave shows what one person is like in all sorts of situations. It is by no means far from the truth.
I once tried to find a bit of obsolete camera kit for a customer, and had the rep. for the supplier asking in other shops if they had one in stock tucked away in a cupboard - to no avail.
When the customer came back in after a couple of weeks, I was treated to a tirade of abuse along the lines of "This is what happens when you try to support local shops...!".
I told him to leave the shop, and not to set foot in it again. I doubt any other shop or national chain would have gone to the trouble I had!!
I can well imagine the same fellow on the road, perhaps behind a tanker on a SC road!!!
