These are the last few days for experiencing legal 70mph driving on the M275. The speed limit roundels are on the road and the signs will be going up soon.

The new speed limit will be 60mph between the M27 and just before the northbound ferryport sliproads, and 50mph between this point and the existing 40mph speed limit at the end of the motorway on Mile End Road.

Get out there and enjoy it while it lasts!

Just 1 week after the speed limit reduction came into force, I had the pleasure of crawling past a 3/4 car pileup on that very stretch of road.
:roll:

I wonder if this now dangerous road now qualifies for a speed camera :x
