I know Mad Moggie has previously mentioned this tactic of hiding speed cameras in bins (Switzerland wasn't it?), but it's catching on elsewhere too. Just seen it mentioned on Snopes, where it's apparently being done in Canada as well now. And Germany. And Australia. I wonder if we have long to wait before we see them here or whether the current freeze on new cameras really is the beginning of a rethink. I also wonder if any conscientious dog owners have ever accidentally emptied their poop-scoops into a camera bin :twisted:

And then how long before we see a spate of bin fires , mind you ust empty a bottle of liquid in and make sure it reaches the parts other fluids don't :twisted: :evil:

ps. Also used extensively in Belguim in the Brussels / Ghent (Gent) areas (sneaky "B's!"- bins, bushes, boxes)
