Well according to how interpreted the program the police are running amuck with they’re own driving law as in “one for them and one for us”
The interviewer asked if they abided within there own guidelines
And the guy could not give a straight answer even when pushed.
The ACPO guidelines are a complete joke, as the police do not have to comply with the guidelines laid down. We the public drivers see every day how they break there own rules at the so-called safety camera units around the country.
EG Cambridgeshire camera unit will not send a photograph out to the accused. Even if it is to help them identify the driver. What kind of law is this?
Only the other week Chris Fox (president of the ACPO) was on TV saying how the police need the help of the public.
Mr fox, how about pulling the camera partnerships in to line with the ACPO guidelines.
I believe the camera partnerships are damaging the public confidence with the Police beyond repair.

Does 'if required' mean you have the siren and/or lights on ?

I've lost count of the number of times I've either been overtaken when proceeding at the speed limit, or cut up at a roundabout or just generally b*ggered about by a police car that HASN'T been on blues and twos....the police round here drive like idiots.

Best wishes all,
