The one that takes pictures of HGV’s and cars motorcycles is back in action after it suffered “spontaneous camera combustion”

If you can do so safely, measure the distance the camera is "invisible" from. If it doesn't meet the guidelines, photograph it and write to Warwickshire's Chief Constable requesting it's removal.

They will then have three options - remove the camera, remove the tree, or ignore you. It's unlikely something via the CC will be ignored.

However, as Warwickshire are the ones who operate the truly moronic "smile" logo on their vans, the reply could be interesting...

Anything like reply i got about a van - be prepared for a lengthy debate - finally turned out it was placed there because of accidents -on a NSL road, with one or two tricky bends - the only excess speed would figure would be as in "for the conditions etc", and the van sat on the only straight for miles around.
That was after proving it was not this /that or the other van since i pointed out the logo and threatened to send in a photo.

However when visiting Warwickshire be sure to photograph the other "safety " cameras which blend in with the scenery.

Driving round warks you'd think the scams are reducing - they're not - just being hidden by the trees -getting so that you see the gatso markings before the camera
Anyone know when the local County is part of the scamerati pratnership who's responsible for keeping the cameras visible?
