Just a thought, how about getting in touch with other motoring-related protest groups such as Farmers for Action?
I realise that their aims aren't quite the same as ours, but I'm sure no-one here has an issue with complaining about high fuel tax.
There is a big problem in making common cause with organisations that have fundamentally different objectives.
It's certainly true that there is a lot of overlap in terms of members of one having sympathy with the other. But it doesn't follow that every Safe Speed supporter wants to see large cuts in fuel duty, nor that everyone who wants fuel duty cut is a camera sceptic. The effect would tend to be to, at the margins, erode support for both organisations.
Also such a link would tend to encourage critics to brand Safe Speed as part of a generalised "right-wing" movement.
