In reply to PAULNN18 I wholey agree
IF I loose my licence for speeding ( after 40 years on the road )
I will
i: loose my licence!
ii: loose my livelyhood, (I drive 250+ per day in my beloved job of work)
iii loose my home!
loose my tolerance for being a LAW ABIDING CITEZEN!
AND HAVE TO BECOME A LAW BREAKER IN ORDER TO REDRESS THE BALANCE
*(I'm a LIBRA BIRTHSIGN)

It would appear that that in this case a speeding conviction may have cost the local speed camera partnership more than it cost the speeder!

Oh dear, how sad, never mind.

...I borrowed the photos from Patch's original post for the second page! :)

I should have snapped the Truvelo on the A508/A14 junc in Northants after it was torched - classic example of a newish junction - badly designed A508 over slight blind summit on new overbridge - the sliproads from the A14 join either end.

Has a 40 limit on it which continues to village a mile or so to the south retaining the limit all the way when it could have been NSL in between.

There is a very worrying trend with applying low speed limits to roads and enforcing them as an 'alternative' to proper engineering measures. Particularly annoying considering the amount we all pay into the system to use the roads.
:x
