Fast Women

Another notable statistic to be found in the Bank of Scotland Vehicle Finance's report, Company Cars - The Drivers' Perspective is that women seem to be more enthusiastic about raising speed limits than men. 62% of male drivers, from the 1600 surveyed, would like the national limit to be higher than 70mph, compared with 83% of females.

Just over a quarter of the women think the limit should be at least 90mph, and 5% believe there should be no limit at all, a situation which last applied back in the 1960s.

I wonder how this fits into their version of Female stereotyping

I don't know about stereotypes, but my wife and sister both fall into the "as fast as I can get away with" category... :nsl:

The only women that I know are different are those that never drive out of their home village, and to be honest are more likely to be in the "no view" category, but if asked leading questions in a suitably worded survey would propably say that they don't want limits increased...

Thats the problem with surveys - the first thing to ask is who commisioned it, and what was their agenda...
