The new Radarscout from Undetected.co.uk

Everybody hates speeding tickets, It is however a sad fact of life that in the UK, speed detection via gatso cameras and mobile police units have made the odds of recieving a speeding ticket huge.

In an ideal world the answer is easy, don't speed! Unfortunately it's something most of us have done at one time or another, the "it'l never happen to me" syndome kicks in, if were lucky, we won't get caught and we won't have an accident, but why take the risk?

Most speed cameras are placed in "accident hotspots", in blackpool (my hometown) the entire town must be one big hotspot, as there seems to be a gatso camera on every street corner!

If you would like more information on speed detection and how you can avoid accidents with the help of specially designed detectors which alert you of approaching cameras and accident hotspots please feel free to visit us at: http://www.undetected.co.uk.

The gatsometer has a shield that prevents the majority of the radar from radiating to the rear of the camera rendering this mostly useless.

Yep, would have to agree with that - GPS-based camera detection is the way to go. All you have to worry about then are the mobile cameras, and since all you have to do there is request a full copy of the LTi 20/20 traffic video to get your prosectuion dropped, I'd say you're home free.

Tested for accuracy, the radarscout detects all live (film loaded) gatso cameras prior to your vehicle passing by them. This unit also has a built in city mode function which enables the unit to work without interferance from other signals, but thankyou for your comment.

That's interesting. Sometimes my detector picks up Gatsos fine, and other times it beeps at pretty short notice. Seem like if they're shielded something must be working to send enough backwards towards me for the detector to work, and that something isn't always there. I haven't noticed, but maybe it's working better in traffic where it's detecting radar reflected off the back of cars ahead?
