I am now FINALLY just exchanging on my house (was going to be Fri but I assume the money wasn't transferred) ... anyway I am up to my eyes in sorting, packing and giving things away and so on !!! Completion was hoped to be the 1st Oct but now looks like Mon week.

Managed to find a good southern storage place too !

I will then be all over the place for a few weeks but hope to buy a southern place soon ! :)
Then I can settle - then I can concentrate without worrying about moving and constant changes !

I will get a new computer too that is QUICK !

I hope more of you over the coming months and years and organise various meets - they seem to go down very well.

I met a splendid chap yesterday who runs a large East Anglian motorbike organisation and he is most keen to check us out, so I encouraged him to join up and gave him various promotional material ! :) (many from Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk)

As said - that's great. Know the feeling of relief.

Thanks chaps - yes a sad but great step forward.

I hope this week that I will complete on the London flat :)

Sadly though today I have managed through a mishap with a gate & bucket to break my cheek bone ! My face is v swollen and they can't tell much more before is reduces in size. I can just see out my right eye.

My new laptop is now in 'shipping' status so SOON !!

Completed on the flat on Friday morning as the money transfer was delayed by bank, got the keys on Saturday.
Having this London base will I hope enable me to develop Safe Speed and take it forward as well as keep in far better face to face contact with many more people! :)

My new computer finally arrived and I have now got it going! It seems very swish, but time will tell, but it's looking very good so far !! What a relief ! :)

My cheek bones will knot back together without the need for surgery but I will need a time critical blood drain ! That sounds so painful ! So I have that to look forward to but it is extremely painful and sensitive!

:)

Look on the jovial side ,Claire - you've had the tap, now you're getting the drain . How did you manage to do that much damage ?

It was a weird one ... I opened my 5 bar gate quickly and threw the horse feeding hardish plastic rubber thing ... but as the gate swung back bouncing off it's stopper it caught the bucket flung it up and got caught onto the gate .... all as I stepped forward to put the gate on the (open) latch ... so the bucket cut short the distance between me and the gate and so thus the gate stopped on my face via the bucket ! It all happened really quickly ! I could not believe how quickly the face swelled up ! I ought to post up a picture - It's impressive !! perhaps in a more private area!
I didn't think it through, didn't allow for consequences, failed to observe well, and so failed to react quickly enough !

It will heal over time thankfully just a shame that I am about to do a lot of decorating of the new flat ! V V bad timing!

I do now have the new flat keys and hope to be 'in' in the New Year. The phone is ordered and I am going over soon with the first bits ! ... the big clean up is stage 1 !! Then see to the squeaky floorboards, electrics and move a gas boiler, add on radiators, insulate plasterboard upstairs, then paint then tidy up the garden making space for 2 cars (min!) ... I wonder if I can have a bonfire - still I have fireplaces ! :) Lower floor windows need proper dbl glazing panels for the sash window frames ... so lots to do !

I love my new laptop ! That is going to help me working well and QUICKLY I hope ! :) Anyone fancy buying my former HP i7 (17") dual core laptop ? :)
