Found this in todays paper....
Quote:
HUSBANDS BOSWORTH: The traffic safety camera sited in High Street, recorded 11,057 vehicle movements and 19 speeding offences during four-day period at the beginning February. Twenty-one offences and 14,678 movements were recorded between February 25 and March 2.

These are not going to make them rich!. It dosen't say how many resulted in convictions. They should of course say "alleged" offences to be accurate.

It dosen't say if there were any accidents either.... :!: Obviously not the prority.

19 alledged offences in four days is equivalent to 1,733 per year. At £60 each, that's £104,000. It soon adds up...

But theyre has previously been a report that in Leicestershire one in 6 are either emergency services or untraceable.

It did not say if any of the speeding was by the emergency services!

There is a road in the city with a cameras on it within 400 yards of an A&E entrance. :?
