..............why do they put a bag over the Camera that says Not In Use.

This is a question posed to me by a friend. Any ideas please.

I'm thinking along the lines that the camera may not yet be compliant with the placement rules.

Yep, I've pondered over that one too.

What it seems to say to me is "Don't panic brake everyone, we haven't got this one wired up yet."

I can't think of any reason for the "bagging" other than safety, in other words the implication is that if the bag weren't there then the general level of hazard would be greater. Which seems awfully like an official endorsement of what we've been saying for years... :scratchchin:

My theory is that the bags are similar to the signs in shop windows saying "don't bother nicking the stuff in the display, it's all just dummies and empty boxes"...
... I suppose it saves the pyromaniacs a tyre and a bottle of petrol :gatso3:
