The country has finally gone completely down the pan.

How long until police patrols are stopped altogether due to the likelihood of injury apprehending criminals!!!

Already being discussed on the forum, but have found out that there are plans to have more beat officers - is on thier website - the cost is suspiciously similar to the amount they are likely to raise from the sale of said bikes.

Coincidence ????

And what will they do after year 1? Sale of bikes is a one off profit, paying for the officers is every year. Coincidence maybe or this time next year will there be some headscratching and less officers on the beat

Is it just me or is there a distinct lack of absolute, irrefutable figures showing just how many of these motorcycle officers have been injured over recent times to back up the decision?

Or was it just a question of "We need to save money - heads it's the motorbikes, tails it's the dog section."?
