Bit of an oddball one --must be someone in here that knows ,coz Googleing only gets sites with lamps to sell.
Anyway on a R 40 /R50 ses reflector lamp -what does the number stand for ?

The R = Reflector Lamp
The Number = the lamp diameter in mm.
So R80 = 80mm dia reflector. :)

Many thanks -mal - couldn't work out if the numbers were somat to do with diameter or angle ,and as I said Googling just brought up lampsellers .Possibly that was because I believe that bulbs are planted,and lamps are lit :lol:
