I am just reading on page 505 of CEEFAX that Richard Hammond has spoken of suffering "mortally with depression" since his crash.

That's not good, I had a near death experience, that wasn't as spectacular as his and had depression after that too. I hope the guy is ok and being looked after.

Yes, very sad Adam.L.....He was very lucky to survive of course, and I'm glad that he did. He's a good entertainer.

Yet y'know.....I can't feel too sorry for him as his £millions must help to soothe the pain he feels. I, on the other hand have worked hard all my life and yes I have a few thousand in the Bank (if it too doesn't go bust), the result of my "prudence" in years gone by, but I'm looking forward to the miserly state pension (the worst in Europe) plus my small private pension to survive on. It's a fact that far more pensioners die of hyperthermia here in Britain than in Siberia! All due to lack of money......

Yes, Richard, I wish you well..........Get well soon......

It can be as a result of brain damage, too. It can alter the personality. Hope he is going to be OK.

According to the columnist, Jane Moore, in The Sun, two of his problems are that he now gets very emotional, and has lost some of his spatial awareness which is effecting his ability to park his car properly.
Her diagnosis: The Hamster is changing into a Woman.
