rossjallen,

This isn't an arena to hawk your wares. Please don't make repeat posts elsewhere.

Does this not breach forum rules? If not, why not?

It doesn't.

I'd like individuals or organisations with commercial information 'of value' to be able to make the good people here aware of their offerings.

People who may be overselling worthless crap cannot easily or certainly be identified by a 'rule'. Anyway, I credit the people here with the intelligence and discrimination to be able to recognise the wheat from the chaff.

Thank you, administrator. All I'm trying to do is help other motorists out, but if they don't want my help, they know where they can stick it. For an astronomically low price, a fraction of what the high flyers and celebs pay lawyers, my letters will get ANYONE off ANY motoring ticket/fine. If you want points and a ban then stuff you.. Smeggy, you can zip it and RobinXe, why don't you keep your nose out you do-gooder. As for free advice from pepipoo... how's pepipoo going to get you out of doing 100mph in a 30mph zone? My solicitors letters will do so I'm sure the sensible motorists out there would rather spend £100 now than thousands in legal costs. Make your own minds up.

If you're so confident, please send me copies of the letter(s) for examination. I promise to hold the content confidential (and we're CERTAINLY not in the business of 'selling legal advice').

PePiPoo have some great legal lawyers working towards their cause, you can bet they would be broadcasting such a great defence should it actually exist.
There are a great many scammers operating via eBay, so it is reasonable to treat your item with an amount of suspicion. Your subsequent attitude only reinforces my personal distrust.
There is a difference between helping motorists and giving them advice that is useless, likely to be useless or would well leave them facing a charge of perjury.

Is your letter the PACE statement or one that recommends the Hamilton Defence?

You would do well to comply with Paul's request. This is a respectable website, one that isn't associated with 'dodgy legal advice'.

As for helping motorists get off for ‘doing 100mph in a 30 zone’ – I would prefer you didn’t, those are most likely to be the type of drivers that need removing from public roads.

Calling a Safespeed member a ‘do-gooder’ must be a first :hehe:

I have received two letters.

I've replied by email to the OP warning that he risks a charge of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, and that his customers risk charges of perjury or attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Did we expect anything else.

rossjallen,

given what Paul has summarised, don't be surprised if someone pretending not to be the NCIS or other authority takes you up on your offer, then subsequently find a summons on your doorstep.

Do your research fellas, my ebay advert clearly says:

"I have made 4 template letters available so that you can now get out of any speeding fine. Please only use them if a) you are sure that you are not guilty of the offence or b) if you are unsure if you are guilty of the offence.

Please do not use them if you know that you are guilty of the offence.

There you go, no dodgy legal disclaimers hidden in small print at the bottom of the web-site. I don’t have to, these are the very same letters that Lawyers use to protect their clients. They are 100% legal to use so long as you are not lieing to do so."

How hard is it to understand that I have 100% legal solicitors letters to get you off your speeding fine?

Wow, you're really credible bandying insults about!

If your motives are so altruistic, how am I a do-gooder? Is it because I am warning people against giving their money to a scam artist?

Given your most recent posting, isn't your advert quite misleading?

...should presumably read "The letters to get you off any speeding ticket when you are not guilty". That's less likely to part people with their money though I suppose.

What manipulative tripe!

I've just checked the Google cache (oh yes I'm that smart), no such text existed on your original ebay advert before it was revised on 04-Sep-07 18:03:23 BST.

Go to google, type in exactly the following:
"Letters to get you off ANY speeding fine or ticket!!"
and click "cached" (retrieved on 2 Sep 2007 22:26:42 GMT)
I have screenshots of the original auction should anyone want evidence before the Googlebot scans through again.
I've also captured the HTML code.

You are a liar!

You are a scammer!

You have no place on these forums!

Any snoopers watching: please free free to take this idiot out!

I have promised not to reveal the content of your letters. Further discussion would allow people to guess (if they haven't already).

I recommend that you reply to my email. I'm perfectly serious when I warn that you are taking considerable legal risks.

I remind posters that I have only seen two out of the four letters that you are advertising.

Smeggy, you've got to seriously consider whether you're a proper person or not and where you're going in life when you've got the time to waste investigating my advert and checking the google cache like some anorak computer gimp who's nothing better to do than disect a perfectly simple offer in your sordid little grief hole..

I'll take my business elsewhere..

It took literally all of 10 seconds to check; seems worth it to me!
I think we could agree that the NCIS would in just a little bit more effort than I did - fingers crossed!

We're just trying to help keep you and your customers out of trouble.

What do you think we could POSSIBLY have to gain from this otherwise?

What's the betting that the other two letters he neglected to send are indeed the PACE statement and the Hamilton Defence?
