He will be off on one again at me. I cause greatest upset. I suggest to jec that she ist a complacent driver in passing. She got very upset over this -especially when I sort of suggested that a Tom Tom did not necessarily mean "compliance" - but rather "manipulation" per Steviebabes argument
She got really und truly upset over that. I felt just awful as I had never intended her feeling that way over what I posted that night. I admit that I might have seemed a little over -argumentative to her. My excuse: Ach.// we foster kids und we had one drunken teenager throwing punches at the Mad Doc und I switched off by posting counter pedantic arguments to jec whilst he dealt with it.
Unfortunately Martin was like Mad Doc with me recently on a PH argument - chivalrously protecting his wife.
I was touched by that. I admit to it. I normally fight my own battle. Longest story but I did resolve anyway in private.
I think we might have inadvertently made Martin blow hot und cold with his wife's view.
But ist difficult I guess. Am lucky in some ways - Mad Doc und self - we do disagree on some things but even if our views differ - we agree to an entente cordiale on some posting issues - but I think intelligent will see this stance if they read closely.
Not many issues we do disagree on .. but we have the odd one as all couples do.
Handy also have a signature which ist a bit OTT. But he explain it. Mad Doc gave fair reply which I endorse.
Handy ist unhappy about M25 closure PR. He explain this fairly. Most of us do understand his point. After all - I closed M6 for ages longest time ago.
But police have obligation to find out cause of crash und prosecute whoever cause this if necessary und in public interest. They also should record for learning experience too.
They also have another obligation
to keep traffic moving as they do not know what emergency brewing might be in that queue
So whilst we feel deeply for all those involved und bereaved in these incidents - we also must keep ourselves aware of other human needs all the same.
Ist not being callous to bereaved - but humanistic und caring to others who are not at all involved but who are strangers caught up in a delay of which significance they are unaware until they read in a tabloid und then feel guilty for their selfishness if you like Andy und I should post in that thread I saw somewhere.
