Perhaps we need something like the Kwik fit ad for trafpols

"YOU CAN'T GET BETTER THAN A TRAFPOL HELPER " ( AT A MOTOR Way accident)

Isn't a motorway "trafpol helper" a Highways Agency Traffic Officer?

Thats the last thing we need! Get pulled over for speeding then they'll tell us that our home security is woefully dangerous and our boiler looks like it may be leaking carbon monoxide. They can do the full job and put it on the kwik-pol storecard at a very good apr of 40% :)

Till they all get totalled or cause more moterway problems .
Every time i pass one of these stopped to "protect " a vehicle all i see is something reminding me of a large bird trying to take off ---orange/yellow body flapping arms, and dangerously near the passing traffic.

scanny77 - obviosly got the same high opinion of them as i have - just waiting till some one gets totalled by them - my opinion of them --
"Acident waiting to happen --please go elsewhere"

Slightly off topic, but at about midnight on my way home was a trafpol car parked between a parked car and a van, so not easily visible. Three trafpol with a hand held unit and every so often a car gets a flag down.

The car in front gets a wave, I'm keeping pace with him (within the limit) and as I pass I see one headlight out, blue flashing neons under the car and both foglights blaring.

Can we have more of this please ?????
