Drivers encouraged to take Advanced Driving Training after 'accident packed' TT

Island riders and drivers as being prompted to take an Advanced Motorist Training course following an 'accident packed' TT.

Over the two week festival the Roads Policing Unit attended in the region of 50 road closures and incidents on open roads - three of which were fatal.

The course teaches a systematic way of riding based on 'roadcraft' - a technique used by the police, emergency services and armed forces.

Chris Roughley teaches the advanced bike course and he says everyone can always learn a little bit more and encourages everyone to take the time for it:
