Notice a marked decline in mobile enforcement in recent months. I also note from other forums that other posters are commenting likewise and it seems to be nationwide. Anyone else noticed this ?

Drivers are like donkeys -they respond best to a carrot, not a stick .Road safety experts are like Asses - best kept covered up ,or sat on

Must admit, I haven't seen one for ages, now.

No, I regret to say I haven't noticed it; but then I'm not travelling as much these days as I did a few years ago.

I've seen a North Yorkshire camera van around a few times in the Scarborough/Whitby/Pickering area recently, dammit.

Best wishes all,
Dave.

The only thing I have noted to be in decline is the speed limit in various locations. Long stretches of perfectly safe roads are limited to 30mph. Permanent 20mph limits are being introduced outside schools which apply 24hrs per day 365 days per year.

This is the real problem - not camera vans. We should be campaigning against this rather than cameras.

Spoke too soon - van yesterday in in a place I've never seen one before. Son tells me he's seen it there a couple of times before. Possible that local WRI /Mothers union etc have complained about cars "speeding" after the tank trap zone.
