If you're the registered keeper you'll have to watch the mail for 14 days from the incident (including weekends). After that you'll be pretty much immune.

If you're not the registered keeper it can take longer - sometimes much longer. You might ask the registered keeper to watch their post.

If something nasty turns up in the post visit Pepipoo: http://www.pepipoo.com or come back here.

Cross your fingers.

This might be too obvious a question, but did you see it flash? Even in daylight the double flash in the mirror is supposed to be hard to miss. No flash and you may be lucky.

Might not be the same one, but I saw about ten years ago. From what I remember it didn't contain anything that you can't get for free now with some surfing. Probably mostly at Pepipoo. You really, really need to visit them and start getting information. They have a very similar forum there where you can ask the same questions.

Tell 'em politely but firmly to stuff off. BUT... before you do make sure there isn't a fair reason for late delivery. If you've just moved house they might genuinely need an extra couple of days. Or if you're a company car driver the NIP goes first to the registered owner, usually a leasing or contract hire company, then back to Plod, then to your employer, then back to Plod again, then finally to you. That could take well over a month, so AIUI as long as they sent the first NIP out within the 14 day deadline they're safe and you're poorer.

Again, all this will be covered much better at the Pepipoo forums.
