Very unlikely. They usually only flash when you go toward them if they're out of film to alert TPTB to go and change it.

Wow. did it flash?

Get yourself over to Pepipoo.com and complete their wizard. They are better placed to advise you there than we are here.

The setup could be something like this:

You can see the shadow of the camera unit and the TWO sets of bars EACH side of the road. I've watched it "flash" an astra going right to left and then two ducatis going left to right. The village is yardley hasting, A428 northants.

Is the camera in that picture a double-header? Do such animals exist?? Or is it rotateable? Or does it sit at one end of the rulers and manage to capture traffic either side of the road?

I've never seen such a setup, or details of one. Perhaps Jomukuk could shed more light?

this one ??

If so - it's a 60 limit. don't say what type it is, but that site looks extremely dangerous ( nil accidents ) .

What sort of van ? But would have to be a Gatso to discriminate AFAIK

Road --- still S/C ??? - that makes limit for van 50 --- but only if Gatso set up to differentiate.

I drive Transit 90/350 in Warks where they do differentiate on size and never seen a Gatso flash a 3.5 van( at 50 on NSL) --to the best of my knowledge they are not that clever - they can tell the difference between a golf type and a HGV,but that's all.
As suggested - best bet (armed with site info ,etc) is Pepipoo.
Only dived in as i've been researching Scottish sites in case i've got to go up in a hurry and was easy to find site info.
