An article in our local paper caught my eye, its headed "Waste not, want not" and quotes extracts from "The Bumper Book of Government Waste" - amongst the many examples of Gordon Brown presiding over an unprecedented squandering of public money is this
"There was the £500,000 overtime paid to six Essex policemen to come in on their days off to man speed cameras"
This amounts to over £80,000 each....for overtime payments.....
the article doesn't say how many years this covered...even if it was ten years that's still over £8000 a year - each.

I know I think I will be the first to shoot myself if Gordon Brown comes to power!!!! He is out for himself and happens to have the only cash book which never balances!!!!!!

Down here in Essex there's gold in them there cameras !!!! (and the fines they raise).
