So it seems that our friends in the "partnerships" have been using a decidely dodgy "instrument" with which to ply their despicable trade(as if we didnt know).

Prompted by the revelations in the press regarding this subject, im minded to ask our resident scamsters what they intend to do to put right all the wrongs theyve so often inflicted upon drivers driving safely in their areas of operation.

Are they going to continue to use this LTI in the knowledge that its prosecuting INNOCENT drivers?
What do they intend to do regarding those theyve actioned against?
Are they going to refund drivers? Are they going to COMPENSATE those who have lost jobs, houses, LIVES???????

Or are they just going to compound the bad and unjust judgements theyve already made by making yet more of the same in the persuit of cash in a flash??

Time IS up CSCP (and the rest of them) show your true colours: Are you Human beings or the dregs of society, are you going to DO THE RIGHT THING, FINALLY or be damned by all?

Your choice.

Dunno, but hopefully they have seen the Daily Mail today, and the photos of a UK-spec LTI 20-20 (big TTUK sticker on the back!) producing various errors in different ways. Question is, if CSCP aren't able to replicate this error in testing (it is very easy to do), how on earth can we believe that they know that it doesn't occur in regular operations?

Well, it seems that it is now the words of several experts and investigative reporters against Steve Callaghan. It is dangerous to call him a liar, but I know have little faith in the accuracy of anything he says.

If you keep saying there is nothing wrong with the LTI 20-20 enough times, eventually it becomes true!! :o
Of course something may come along which spoils the party... .·:Image

Up Poop-a-scoop! Image

The big questions are whether the report and findings publised in the various media areas will persuade the Pratnerships to stop, or severly curtail, the use of the 'Dodgyscope' and whether all this will encourage many, many more drivers to contest the allegations of speeding and fight in the courts.
It would seem as though the main 'expert witness' can be challenged as to his impartiality now.

I suspect with Government backing, they'll just stick their heads in the sand, and hold out for as long as possible! :(
Until nearly everyone contests the cases in court, then nothing will be done. It's just too expensive in money and time to fight a case where the worst that can happen is a £60 fine - a day off work would cost more than that!
It's only when it gets to fighting the points which might cost their licence, that most drivers would bother.... but as more people get points the more likely it is.
I personally know of a person who simply accepted a fine and three points, because it was the cheapest option - and she was nowhere near the camera at the time concerned!!
As to the "expert" witness, who else would they find to back up their false testimonies? You will be able to rely on Frank to back them to the HILT!

There is a Parliamentary phrase to cover this situation -

He is guilty of a terminal inexactitude ---

Churchill... "terminological..." :-)

In the case of the other gentleman in question, perhaps it might be "terminal" for his career prospects. :-)
