Per this evening's "Manchester Evening" (Bryan Horne reports - page 15)

You cannot make it up!

A court in Edinburgh heard that a young mum stopped for drink driving had more than a bottle of wine in her person.

She has :yikes: a loaded high tech gun hidden in her knickers  :?

Beats a chastity belt then!

She claimed she bought the gun - er disguised as a keyring - in a pub and believed it sprayed CS gas? :?

Now this is worrrying - espeically in today's climate of gun -toting terror, This gun might be 3 inches but it can embed a .32 slug into a wooden floor from just 20 metres

Police discovered it during a strip search at Dundee police station. She was stopped in December 2003 and failed a roadside breath test - and police found caannabis resin in the car as well.

At the first hearing a year ago - woman (Nicola Sterling) pleaded guilty to breaching fire arms regulations and admitted drink driving. She was fined £100 and given a 12 month driving ban. She was also placed on a good behaviour order - and the firearms sentence was deferred for a year.

She kept her nose clean and yesterday walked free from court with no further fines or community service orders.

But just goes to show - you just do not know what IG et al really deal with

So, this woman was carrying a gun, was in possession of drugs, failed a breath test and was given 1 year "probation" order.

Compare this to the 6 months in jail for the man who modified his numberplate to avoid the congestion charge. (See another thread.)

Justice!

Hells bells. Did they really fall for that or did she seem daft enough to believe it? Bloody lucky she didn't try it out first to see if the CS gas worked :yikes: . Er, hang on... CS gas is illegal anyway isn't it? WTF was she playing at?

Well, if it was pointing one way, she was trying to shoot herself in the foot. If it was pointing the other way, she was aiming at her head - obviously a bigger c**t than we thought

And pointing a third way could have made for a very unusual method of <ahem> discreet body piercing. :o Image

What the hell is this Country coming to?. It seems you can get away with anything you like these days as long as it doesn't involve speeding or running along a tube platform wearing a puffa jacket.
