Sounds familiar to what used to happen on my road some years ago. Gang of little scrotes decided on target house. Usually one that had caused most problems to their reign of terror. The house was subject to door thumping and objects thrown at door. Male tenant came out to be subject to torrents of verbal . Then one little yob would throw a punch, with little chance of damage, looking for retaliation. Once retaliation took place gang would scarper and a complaint would be made to police. I've had it. I came out to find two teenage yobs bouncing my car. I gave chase and was lucky to escape the baseball bat trap. Going back in ,I was punched in the face by one .i defended my self and thumped one yob hard on his nose. He called up police claiming broken nose. Unfortunately for him, local Force were wise to his game and recognised my injury as bat strike. Next door witnessed my attack and yob retracted his statement in fear of police action . I'd had problems with this one for a few years , but after that , I never had any more. Indeed even now ,he crosses the street to avoid me.

Still amounts to no more than a slap on the wrist whereas I would be banned, for equally speeding as he did, where I presented no threat and 'safe to do so'.

The hypocrisy stinks! (And 'they' wonder why police credibility and respect is low).

Either speed kills or it doesn't? Be clear and define it. If it holds true for us, as an absolute, it should hold true for everyone! (Apart from Med Hughes and others....).
