Harriet Harman avoids drive banFrom what has been said the mobile phone charge was dropped - was this because that even combined with the lowest penalty of 3 points she was fined she would have lost her licence due to the previous speeding convictions.
I wonder what special hardships she claimed to keep her licence given that she has a chauffer for official business ?

Odd as watching the local papers I often see drivers who have multiple charges made against them, so why do they not have the lesser charge dropped ?
