I know that this is a roadsafety forum, but I'd like to ease the minds of nice people here who've shared my stress over these last few months, by sharing their choice of music...........anyone like to counter this evening's choice of music? .......... Ry Cooder's 'Paris, Texas'

Great tune (though when I bought a Ry Cooder compilation, I disliked most of the other stuff).

I'm currently listening to a vanishingly obscure self-titled album by a band called Pooka.

Perfect summer afternoon music.

Good stuff.....just got to that on Spotify.com.

If you like organ music, then you could do worse than listen to Widor's Toccata from his 5th organ symphony - and turn it up loud!
It brings to mind a few of the evening sunsets we enjoy here occasionally.

When we got married I wanted this for the entrance music. My wife had not heard it, so the church organist sat down and played it from memory - no sheet music.
As he finished, the few people wondering around the church had sat down to listen, and burst into applause - only for my (now) wife to say "No, I don't like that one, it's too loud!"
I since found out her dad loves organ music, and would have enjoyed it immensely!

If you listen to Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D, it very much depends on who the artist is! I like the Disney's Fantasia version myself.
