I'm new in this site and I'm looking for advice

I'm driving with a foreign license (I came to the UK in october 2007). I got caught twice in a period of 13 days in March 2008 for speeding at 51 mph and 54 mph at the same place in a 40 mph speed limit
I filled the NIP each time and now I got a citation to appear to court for the first offence. I assume I will get the second citation in a month or so.

My intended aproach is to plead guilty in both cases and pay the fines. Could the court ban me for driving or will I still have until october to pass the tests and get a UK driving license. I know the 6 points will remain there for 2 years but what worries me is the possibility of not being able to drive here.

The court could ban you, but it is highly unlikely.

You'll be fined, probably have to pay costs and the "victim surcharge", and any points you get will be on your UK driving record for 4 years.

That is an interesting situation, actually. If you get 6 points on your UK license before you even apply for one, what happens? The law is that if you get 6 points within the first 2 years of passing your test, you have to retake it -- but what does that mean if you already have 6 points before you pass the test?

Thanks for the comments. Do you guys think the best aproach is to go humble to the court and plead guilty or get a good lawyer and challenge the court by technicalities.
