I tend to listen to R2 .. Classic FM und a selection of fave CDs - und I do have "Music for Minors" for the kittens on occasion too :lol: Listen/Learn with Mozart has a selection of"busy pieces" as well as soothing classics too. I recommend this as it ideal for kittens. :lol:

But do you think folk drive faster to the tunes of "Bat Out of Hell" :lol: Personally I am not a Meatloaf fan. He OK - I only have one of his albums in collection. Or the "Blues .. Rythm und Blues or Country/Western?

I remember reading years ago that tests had shown that as the tempo of the music increased, so did the speed.

I must admit, I have caught myself on more than one occasion moving down the motorway a bit quicker when a fast rock track is playing although I've never noticed myself doing it when driving in an urban area.
This is probably because theres a lot more going on around town to keep me occupied, whereas motorways can get quite boring.

I have never noticed it. Mind you, I usually don't have the radio/cd on anyway; unless I'm in very slow traffic.
Maybe you can extrapolate from the engine "beat" ; you know, as the engine beat goes faster so do you ? :bunker:

Again Jomukuk, I'm guilty as charged of that as well.
There has been many a time on a country road that I know like the back of my hand where I have got carried away slightly listening to the sound of the Harris pipe.
Not so carried away I hasten to add that I couldn't stop if I should happen across a tractor or herd of animals around the next bend, but you know what I mean :wink:
