Tried lots to stop this time ago - my settings -send e mail on PM-no,on addition to any post -no - yet my inbox gets lots.Just been through my mailbox on line and deleted about thirty.
Rather loath to remove my e mail addr after the last time, so how can I stop it -
1) Remove e mail addr from profile, but leave it with mods
2) - any other solutions

Ta gents .

It's set on individual threads, so the only way you can disable it is whenever you receive a notification, go into the thread and click on the link at the bottom left that says "Stop watching this topic".

Most threads die out after a while, so if you do that for the busy ones the volume should greatly reduce before too long.

I've checked your profile and it is set so that your default is to not receive e-mail notifications.

Thanks -Pete - had this problem before ,as I said & cured it by taking out addr, ---after losing advice to change subs don't really want to do that again -sort of like tempting fate. Will try it your way .
