Or, is this even a speed camera?

It's a 30mph zone and on either side of a railway crossing there are TWO rubber lines on either side of the railway crossing. Attached to a street light is quite a large box and a huge pole with one single camera
Looked kinda like this:

Same colour and everything.

Any advice please?

Also - It's been there for about a week.

I presume it is pointed at the crossing - in which case you have nothing to worry about unless you have been dicing with death and trying to beat the crossing barriers!

Yep. Pointing towards the crossing. It's looks like a pretty standard cctv camera though.

Just with the the rubber strips across the road and the camera... Kinda got me worried?

You reckon it's just traffic surveys or summit?

Doens't sound like it.

If you were speeding to jump the junction as it was closing you might get done for that, which is going to be a whole lot more hurt than a simple speeding prosecution.
