Astonishing lies and spin from the camera people! I suppose we should really be getting used to it by now.

Thanks to "Tafia" for the scan (and many others)!

We never do anyway! Have relative who lives there! She comes to us!

Course "Arrive Alive" etc will spin. They have to defend themselves! But they are not fooling anyone apart from the likes of Aunty Mary, Grauniad readers, cyclists, muesli munchers, non-drivers, and greenies!

Though have to say Brunstrom's boys do not like Moggies either. Last time we tootled down there - went in the Moggies. Got stopped by a BiB!!

He even asked us immortal question: "How fast does it go, Sir"

The wife smiled sweetly at him and said "Bit faster than a Trabi, Liebchen!"

BiB: "Is it roadworthy?"

Self: "No! I always drive a dangerous car, Officer!"

Oops! We had to produce all the documents, etc, etc, etc.!

Ah! But it was worth it! His face was a picture! Only in Wales, eh! [/i]

Supporters say the figures speak for themselves and have contributed to safety on North Wales roads.

The figures have contributed to safety? Hrmm! And assuming the writer means that the cameras have contributed to safety - what figures back this up? I remember the TV programme the other day that said that in N.Yorks the accidents had risen by 40% since scameras were introduced; and I'm sure I'm right in thinking this trend is repeating itself across the country.

Bah.
