Paul et al,

As a semi-regular reader of Private Eye, I am surprised that whilst most government and local authority 'spin' and money making scams are ridiculed and exposed, speed cameras appear to never even get a mention.

Does anyone know why this is? :?

Has anyone from this site offered to pass information or write articles on to this publication regarding cameras etc? If so what was the response?

Dave

Not really surprising... For all their "warrior" pretensions, the staff of "Private Eye" is drawn from the "Chattering Classes of Islington". :(

No, you unspeakable fool!

The "war" against death and injury on the roads - which was being won until the ludicrous and anal monomaniac fascination with "speeding" became the be all and end all of road safety policy!
