Has anyone seen any figures given for the derastic reduction in the labour majority - which groups voted against and why - wondering if there was any way that motorists could have helped and since a lot of "safety" police and "setting of safe speeds" is now in the domain of county councils ( if the county council is part of the core unit of the partnership how much influence do our county councillors have) - we should have county elections next year - would have thought that the thougt of loss of seats or loss of overall power might wake these people up to looking after the motorist .
Labour has devolved power for roads to the local level ( to pass the buck).
Why shouldnt they be held responsible - we vote for them ( or not,if we dont like their policies)
A bit of political blackmail might focus the attention of local politicians on the fact that motorists vote .
