The following sent by email earlier today:
M4 Protest - update
Thank you for contacting me. I apologise if there has been any delay in
replying, but as you will appreciate, it has been a busy few days for me!
The plans are not yet completely finalised, so please keep an eye on the
website
www.m4protest.org for up-to-date information.
As things stand at the moment, there will be two protests running
simultaneously, one from Leigh Delamere services (just west of junction 17),
to Membury services (2 miles west of junction 14), and another in the
opposite direction. We will start to meet up in the car parks in the service
areas at 10.00am for a departure at 11.00am.
Leaflets will be issued on the day regarding road safety, the importance of
driving safely and allowing emergency vehicles to pass the protest.
The co-ordinator for the Membury to Leigh Delamere protest will be Mark
Benson (
mark.benson@oracle.com) and I will be co-ordinating the Leigh
Delamere to Membury protest.
Can I suggest that, between now and the day of the protest, you print off
the "M4 Protest" logo that will be found on the website
www.m4protest.org
and display it on your vehicle?
If there is anybody who can give any practical support, in particular to act
as marshals in the service areas, please contact either Mark or me.
We could also appreciate any assistance that you can give with printing and
publishing - if any of you are involved in this type of work, please contact
me.
We look forward to seeing you on the day.

======================================
Printing is now in hand.
We still need marshalls, and bridge-based protestors waving banners.
And we still need the banners.
