It's time to
Switch Off The European Union!

The latest piece of insanity to issue from the European Union is a
new ruling that we will all have to drive with our car headlights on
in broad daylight.

No-one wants this measure, which will INCREASE road traffic
accidents, INCREASE fuel bills and pollution and INCREASE harassment
of motorists by meddling bureaucrats and officials.

Yet 'our' government is powerless to do anything to prevent this lunacy!

Useless laws weaken necessary laws.

But I don't want to switch off europe. I don't like a lot of crap that gets foisted on us from brussels either. why did they name the city after a vegetable notoriously hated by christmas dinner eaters?
All these anti europe groups seem to follow the same lines. The initial idea of a common market within european states, to improve trade was a good idea but now we're moving ever faster towards a federal state and it's this that I'm against. No more european intervention on law, human rights, or immigration quotas. we have the ability to govern our country. Margret Thatcher (gawd bless her) told the japanese "you can not win in peace time what you could not win in war" referring to their illegal trade practices of selling at cost or loss and having those losses propped up by english and american subsidies. I dont want to refer to europe as an enemy but I cant think what else to call it. our "enemy" has changed it's hat. those two nations at the heart of europe have tried through war (on some occasions won) to impose their will on us, they didn't really succeed, now they do it politically, much like we did to the IRA. Every time a crap piece of legislation comes from the niave heads in brussels, we need to see it as a battle, only these days we have to do it with words, pictures and graphs, or we need more civil disobedience to make these laws unworkable and impossible to police.

this law is silly and futile for car drivers.

It is typical 'euro' law!
