Is it just me or do roadworks now take a lot longer than they used to?

There's a couple of roundabouts in Coventry - Bell Green - roadworks expected for 30 weeks (looks like they're puting in a nice bit of block paving on the pavements) and Whitley island - roadworks expected for 26 weeks - can't see what they're doing (but don't really care it was fine before!).

Anyway - 6 months for a couple of roundabouts - about the same time they took to build the Empire State building 70 years ago.

A sign of "early completion" bonusses for the contractors maybe?

You want to try the "driver information system" project on the M4. They have been buggering about for what seems like two years with not a lot of apparent progress

Don't be silly! Its all down to the SCP - they threw their toys out over the M4 scameras and so just found another way to put scams on the Mway instead!
