Thank you for promoting this excellent initiative :P

Of course, if there was a "don't drive to work day" the economy would collapse.

Yeah, just think, no cyclists to contend with, nobody crossing the road, no buses, all the level crossings raised cos there's be no trains so no delays there, just clear roads for us and our cars the way it was meant to be!

Really? Wow!

Don't worry, on drive to work day we'll really show them how efficient we can all be at getting to work! None of these slow trains, wobbling bicycles, we'll all breeze to work in our cars tout de suite!

And if there was a "don't cycle to work day" nobody would notice any difference

I walk to work I'm afraid, if the car is needed for work I can just walk home and get it.

Ah we would. Me and the 15-20 cyclists that sit alongside me at the junction of The Mall and Trafalgar Square in the morning would all be in their cars, not sitting in front of all the cars at the junction slowing drivers down!

I thought you out accelerated cars across a junction?

I used to do it and have the snapped spokes to prove it so I know it is quite possible.

Not possible, cars have big powerful engines! Cyclists have just spindly little legs!
