As far as I am aware he has advised / part written the new ACPO 'guidelines' on the use of speed cameras (I don't believe that it extends further than that within that publication.) In principal use the manual... He is linked with RSS too of course as indeed as is S Langdon too.

As I understand it from involvement in photography forums, no, you have no rights to your image in the UK.

Copyright in the negative or digital data is an automatic right of the author.

For example, many people are quite surprised to find that they have no rights over their wedding photos. You need to check the contract you sign with a professional. If you fall out bigtime with him/her you might find you get no photos at all (albeit you might be entitled to compensation but the event itself will be gone with no visual record thereof - cue massive disapppointment).
