Mind you I suppose on todays rates a speed bump costs £1000's to build, planning, time, labour costs, maintenance, white lining, upkeep and guns are cheaper, one off purchase around £1500, I believe, unless anyone knows better.
Where do YOU live, where they upkeep humps?
Ours are just left with faded or missing white lines, no drainage (large puddles behind when it rains) and worn or damaged margins which shred the side walls of your tyres!!
Also speed guns in the hands of joe public cannot be used to raise funds.
It's only a matter of time before some chav get's gunned, and reverses up and snatches it from the operator. Hopefully they wont use knives or guns to force the hand over!
