i'm not sure why you all get your knickers in quite such a twist about it....
How about.. er..
Sustained blatant untruths posted about members of my wife's family for starters..
Libellous comments..
Vulgar abuse
Making posts stating as fact they follow some cult such as Scientology. As I hinted in another thread.. I would not want anyone who does follow this practice to feel offended as they have the right to choose this as something they "feel right for them" .. same as Jehovah's Witnesses, Moonies, Protestants, Muslims, Catholics, Jews, agnostics, atheists .. are free to choose in a society which purports to be "multicultural and inclusive" to chuck back the politically correct stance as advocated by the Grauniad

which they devoutly believe in..
Something else which cannot be discussed in public .. but which the management at C+ are aware of.. but short of closing the site and having a reader only subscription posting access .. they cannot really police it.
But if C+ management made this decision.. those posting the garbage who clearly do not read the magazine (where is their time

) would then accuse us of "closing the site down to them" somewhere in cyber space.
What feedback there is on the mag (scant to non -existent) seems to criticise the magazine rather negatively.
For example .. the rides and "the map"
Yes.. they go on the rides around here that we are well aware of. But .. we live here... the
tourists do not .. and they will want to have some idea of rides when planning a short trip here.. same as I will read up the rides they describe in C+, Mountain Bike rags, CW, and even the AA mags

I may not know that area.. that piece may whet my apetite to explore a bit.. so I see nowt wrong with it.
Number of other useful articles .. such as reviews on bike gear, latest bikes on market.. just the same interesting read as Autocar's review of both the new Jag and the new Mondeo..
It's an opinion by the journalists. Like Clarkson, Hammond and May will comment on the cars they drive on Top Gear. May decide to have a closer look based on their opinions ..
and then form my own
But that's the magazine . Personally .. I think it makes

very pleasant and informative reading on the whole. I do not buy each month.. but this is a large family - and we share subscriptions and pass around the family living within a reasonable radius. I will also say that a number of Future's titles are well worth a dipsy into. My sister-in-law - Krissi and her husband buy the Camera one each month and pass on to me. I buy the Computer one each month and pass on to them. IG gets C+ and passes it on to me and Willi (Wildy's cousin .. the one who posts sometimes to a motoring site as "willispeedifonlyhecouldgiven halfachance"

His little joke.. along with his neighbour .. who is rather tall and shaves his legs to get his speeds uphill and down dale on a bike
So .. lot of positives I can offer about Future and its titles then. I like the work they publish. I find their magazines well presented, easy on the eye, pleasant to read overall and designed for a wide readership at varying levels. They have to cater for all levels of expertise after all .. else few would subscribe
As it is, the notorioius internet just re-registers after each ban.. which really shows how much respect he does NOT have for any rules. All that one is good at doing is showing himself up to be a deluded, psychotic and deranged blaggard. This person cannot be employed. No one can have the time to read all of C+. all of this and other motoring sites... just to see what the Swiss have posted up next.. and then make up bizarre stories about them just because the troll has no counter argument against the points they all make.
But ed .. be honest with me, my wife and IG.
would you not be offended by someone who does not even know you posting as if proven fact REPEATEDLY .. unsubstantiated, illogical and quite frankly bizarre posts that
1. a family of well educated professionals tried to close a forum of zero interest to anyone other than a handful of militant zealots as few serious riders have the time to post endlessly and read every post on this and other motoring sites
2. harrassed staff on the magazine. Only number known is that of the switch board and Andreas and Mike only contacted their legal chap who does reply with some courtesy and understanding .. but tends to pass the buck to the "moderator" who in turn passes the "buckW" back to the legal bod.
3. then posts that this family follow a minority cult .. (and in doing so confirms himself to be even more of a bigot and a fool than his thousands of posts to date.)
and I will shout this for the apparently hard of hearing and comprehension

FOR RECORD
THE SWISS FAMILY ARE VERY PROUD AND VERY SURE OF THEIR POSITION IN THEIR PROFESSIONS TO ANNOUNCE THAT THEY ARE OF A CHRISTIAN FAITH AND ARE CERTAINLY NO ASHAMED TO ADMIT THAT THEY ATTEND A CATHOLIC CHURCH, CONFESS THEIR SINS, LIGHT CANDLES AND SING HYMNS AND THEN PRACTISE ARCHERY ON SUNDAY AFTERNOONS!
Come to think of it.. we would have to be Catholic given the number of kids we seem to have produced.
That's what you get folks.. for makin' "whoopy"

after all ..
