Interesting thread.

Strikes me as a case of the insurance not being payed in an accident where the driver was exceeding the posted speed limit which rarely happens.

Accidents involving excess speed can happen well within the speed limit in which case you will be covered, even if its your fault.

I feel far more at risk on a busy motorway driving well within the speed limit due to close proximity with lots of other vehicles than on doing 90 on a lightly trafficed motorway.

Apart from where JJ lurks, that is. :bunker:

(and I don't mean Pistonheads :D )

So if we discount an annual MOT certificate (which to be honest isn't worth jack sh1t once you drive out the testing station) just what do they mean by this??

Perhaps we should all replace our disks and pads when they are half worn, replace tyres when they are 2mm worn and replace the dampers every 18 months irrespective of millage just in case?
