I would SO love to have some reasonable and intelligent posters who disagree with our ideas and beliefs.

If you're an intelligent lurker who disagrees with us, PLEASE register and set out your stall. I PROMISE to do my very best to make you welcome.

As opposed to me, who's obviously an "as thick as two short planks" non-lurker!

[You do understand that I didn't mean any such thing, don't you? I don't see a smiley in your post, but it did make me laugh out loud.]

I think Redwoodron's post was meant to be sarcastic.

I'm not totally against cameras myself. Not if used correctly - clearly visible in accident blackspots or potential blackspots and if used with reasonable tolerance to catch "boy-racers".

I'm a driver who picked up points in my early years for "undue care and attention" overtaking manouevres (past "slow" drivers or groups of drivers) and haven't had any such conviction since 1996, possibly due to the lack of traffic police. I've never had a major (injury) accident although I've had the occasional "damage only" accident.

If the post from Moses 2 wasn't so offensive I'd find it funny. S/He obviously has issues

Is this the same person as we had before? Spelling and punctuation and even use of emphasis seems better than I recall from last time around.

To be fair, RedWoodRon also appears to be a troll - not exactly agreeing with any of the "safe" elements of Paul's message. However, Ron is anti camera so isn't banned or suspended ... c'est la vie.

Yeah, I thought that too.

The original Mosis might have been a bit dyslexic. This one can read and write better but can't keep a civil tongue in his (or her) head.

They do both however, share the belief that nothing else but speed seems to matter though!

I had a look at Redwoodron's 5 other posts. One sensible post among them but he seems to have an obsession that cycling is a dated mode of transport and that they shouldn't be on the road at all.

Surprised he doesn't think cars are dated when there are helicopters and aeroplanes.

I've always thought rolling roads are the real future.

I suppose it could be to do with all the insults in Mosis 2's posts too.

I remember Mosis the first time round being full of nasty hate, and this mosis 2 guy seems to fit the bill in that department.

I tried to read the Essex section, but that and other links are broken.
