Kerb-crawling is presumably dangerous driving though, or at least careless driving.
If I'm driving, the only interest I should have in the pedestrians on the side of the road is whether or not they may run out and cross in front of me. Otherwise if I am driving along the road continually staring at them I am not watching the road ahead of me and not driving safely.
Kerb-crawling is wrong, in my opinion, because it affects "innocent" women who may get an indecent proposition.
Maybe some drug addicts take up prostitution to support their habit, but then am I equally guilty if I buy a Babyshambles album because I know that Peter Doherty will spend some of his royalties on drugs and therefore I am supporting his habit?
