Only 5 per cent of Britons say they never break any laws .

John Sewell, spokesman for http://www.onepoll.com, which carried out the survey, said: 'It's worrying to think that so many people are breaking the law on a daily basis.

'And it's an even bigger concern that many aren't at all bothered about it.

'But these so-called minor crimes are committed so regularly they have almost become legal, which seems to be the reason so many people aren't fazed when they do break the law.'

Presumably the other 5% don't know all of the law.

Yep, I'm a criminal. You're a criminal, we're all criminals. So we don't worry about committing crime, that's normal, we just get used to making sure we don't get caught.

I don't think there's any surprise there! When some laws are stupid, there's no point in obeying them. What I think is more worrying is the fact that some of these laws actually get passed!

We're mimicking politicians. Maybe when they start practicing what they preach and act like a good roll model to today's generation it will help change the 'good to be bad' ethos.

Unless you're in the high income bracket ( or a firm) when you employ a professional to find legal reasons for you not to pay tax

I just asked this a few minutes ago ... Whose sig says 'the good of good people is the chief law' in Latin?
This website translate the above as:

" bonus of bonus populus est presertim lex "

Anyway, this thread should be renamed, and the above's my vote.
