Presumably the issues will be the possible increase in traffic and the increase in the number of large goods vehicles delivering to the supermarket.

Personally I think that out of town supermarkets will generate more traffic and that a supermarket in the middle of town will benefit a greater number of people, the less well off for example.

Depends if it's a smaller tesco metro or a large asda as they cater for different markets.

Some people might shop daily and walk or bus while others may drive and do a weekly shop,.
