:gatso2: BBC Radio Ulster - The Nolan Show. Oh dear, cyclists have really annoyed Stephen Nolan.

I see we'd need to sign in to that to get it ... a bit too busy right now to do that ...

Group 1
It has sadly become all to clear that there are a group of cyclist who have been misguided to understand that they have a right to a whole section of road, and that they can 'impede' the traffic that they like ... or so by their actions this seems to be their intention. This group seem to not understand that the rules of the road, apply to them and seem to treat all roads as a private race track - or very often.

Group 2
However there is also a group who like most of use travel along on a bicycle trying to not get in others way. as much as possible, and if temporarily taking a prominent position is needed, it is done so with thanks and consideration to all other road users, pulling back in as soon as possible, ... this group obey the rules of the road as much as they can.

Whilst there maybe a group that takes sections of each side of the above groups it is the first that is the main discussion of this show... :
why do cyclist feel the need to take up so much space and refuse to budge for anyone else?
