Reader's letter this week entitlled "Lorry Lorry Hallelujah"
Reader writes that he expects drivers to lack quality in their driving

- but it's a pleasure when they find decent standards.
He cites his commute of 9 miles in the "freezing cold of 6 am"
The cold is why most prefer their cars
He rode from Eastleigh to Southamptonand on approach to a roundabout - he sensed a vehicle behind him.

I tend to use my ears and a quick occasional glance back over shoulder from time to time ... Anyway he continues
Quote:
I expected him to pass me before we reached the junction so stayed to the left, but he hung back for a while. I signalled and took up the correct position to take the second exit - but he
gave me plenty of roomBlimey! A COAST reader
The driver stayed behind me. I expected him to pass before the next roundabout. - which was 300 yards further on. But he didn't. I then took the first exit and he stayed behind for a bit longr and then finally passed me - giving me more than ample room.
But then a lot of drivers -
including lorry drivers and van drivers
Ride Bicycles too.
