CW reader has an interesting letter.

It seems he's trying to insure his pride and joy - a TT/Tri bike.

It seems insurers will only insure on home contents - bikes to value of £500 max.

He tried British Cylcing's website and finds he can get cover.. at a whopping £408 to £718 per annum and still not be fully covered. He, like me, is amazed that this bike is going to cost more than his car to insure :roll:

But it's true. Bicycle insurance ain't cheap and it does not deliver what you expect in return for that cash when you read the small print of the policy. :banghead:
